Introduction

S. Anitha is an Assistant professor in the Department of Biotechnology, Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur.  She has been in the Department of Biotechnology since 2005. Dr. S Anitha received her Ph.D. from the department of Botany,Sri Krishnadevaraya University. Title: In vitro propagation studies of Decalepis hamiltonii Wt & Arn. and Sterculia foetida Linn, 2001 Dr. S Anitha worked as Senior Research Fellow (1999 – 2002) in Department of Botany, Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Under DBT New Delhi sponsored project entitled In vitro culture studies and micropropagation of two medicinally important Asclepiadaceae members, Hemmidesmus indica & Decalepis hamiltonii.
